The Baby Jade Bonsai Tree is a small Portulacaria Afra succulent bonsai, also known as the Elephant Bush. Native to South Africa, it features pale green leaves that are almost round and about one-third the size of the common Jade plant.
This bonsai is planted in a land/water pot with a well on one side that holds water. The fleshy trunk, branches, and leaves store water, and the design creates a natural look inspired by a tree growing along the shore of a mountain lake.
Included with the tree are a fisherman figure, a fishing pole, and a ceramic fish to complete the tranquil, Zen-like setting. It makes an excellent bonsai tree for the home or office and a great unforgettable gift.
