Schluter® BARA-RAK is a bright white, color coated aluminum edging profile with a drip lip for finishing exposed floor edges on balconies and terraces.
It is designed for floor assemblies with an existing sloped screed, and the trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg should be integrated with a suitable waterproofing membrane such as TROBA-PLUS. Once the anchoring leg is integrated, tile installation can begin.
When used for floor assemblies that receive a waterproofing membrane with a mortar screed on top, a drainage layer must be incorporated into the surface assembly. The profile helps create a clean edge finish and protects exposed edges against weathering and decay.
90° inside corners, 90° and 135° outside corners, and connectors are available. Available in stainless steel.
