Tell me about the stone Pale gray and understated, this off-white Biancone marble is a classic beauty. It has a natural stony mottled effect - subtle and demure. Its gentle pattern is fairly uniform throughout the tile. It's this consistency which makes it a favorite among those wanting a reliable design. There are no harsh, contrasting veins or surprisingly large crystals. It's an elegant stone, as marble usually is, creating a high-end design where ever it goes.
Biancone marble is a metamorphic stone formed when layers of mineral deposits are subjected to certain temperatures and pressures under the earth's surface. It is a slightly porous stone that requires sealing once it has been installed. After that has been completed, it is fairly moisture resistant making it suitable for almost any area of the home. Kitchens and bathrooms are given a light and bright boost, hallways become luxurious and inviting.
Tell me about the tile's finish The gentle color tones of Biancone marble are revealed in all their glory with this polished finish. The stone is finely ground and then laboriously polished, removing nearly 1mm of its surface in order to reveal a brilliant shine. The light colors within the stone appear brighter, with a high level of clarity.
This is a high-end finish for all areas of the home especially those requiring a luxurious design. It is suitable for flooring but requires occasional maintenance to keep its polished finish as highly reflective as when it was laid. Its glossy sheen bounces light around your home, making it feel bright and spacious.
