The Contoured Seat Suar Wood Counter Chair from AFD Home is a counter-height stool with a contoured Suar wood seat imported from the forests of Indonesia.
This stool is very sturdy, requires no assembly, and is suitable for residential use as well as rigorous commercial usage. Suar is a natural wood, so each piece will vary slightly in grain, texture, and finish color. Natural inclusions are part of what makes every stool uniquely beautiful.
Suar wood, also known as Monkey Pod wood, is strong and very durable, with tones that range from light yellow sapwood to rich dark chocolate brown heartwood. The rich color and grain of the heartwood resemble black walnut, and basic maintenance with soap and water helps keep it looking its best. Suar is not on any endangered species list and is considered eco friendly. This design is also available in Bar Height for conventional 41 to 43 inch tall bar height counters and tables, or as shown it is a perfect choice for kitchen counters and islands typically in the 34 to 38 inch height.
