Cupid With Bow is a timeless recreation of Cupid, the classical mythology figure associated with desire, erotic love, attraction, and affection.
This standing figure shows Cupid with bow in hand as if ready to cast his magical arrow into the hearts of all who see him. It is cast in lost wax bronze and finished in brown hued patina.
Known in Latin as Cupido and also Amor, Cupid is often portrayed as the son of Venus and Mars. This piece captures that classic image in a refined decorative form.
