Tell me about the stone With its effortlessly stylish, stony mottled pattern, our Dark Green Marble tiles are the perfect combination of classic design and on-trend coloring. Their mint green and gray tonality is understated and delicate yet offers enough of a hint of color to make them stand out from the crowd. Wildly irregular, just as nature intended, they're ideal for contrasting with a sleek contemporary design.
There's no doubt that marble is one of the most highly prized natural stones on the market. Across the globe, it acts as an indicator for elegance, style, and class, only the most opulent designs incorporate this beautiful material. In Renaissance Italy, marble was used to display wealth, enrich architecture, and create works of art that are still marveled at to this very day.
But while its design its undoubtedly superior, what should not be overlooked is its hardwearing nature and functionality. Marble is incredibly heat resistant, a quality which makes it ideal for countertops, vanities, and other work surfaces. It is also suitably resistant to scratches, making it a worthy investment.
Tell me about the tile's finish These tiles have a softly honed finish. This is a matte effect achieved by grinding the stone until it is smooth, removing any bumps or uneven texture. The finish mutes the stone's coloring, creating a delicate and understated shade. This is ideal for those who are looking for a subtle effect, perhaps for flooring in large areas of the home.
A honed finish is suitable for a range of applications but is especially popular for flooring, partly because it offers a superior level of slip resistance when compared to a polished tile. A honed finish is perfectly suitable for all areas, making it ideal for those who want to incorporate this stylish material into their functional design.

Furthermore, a honed finish requires less maintenance. Wear and tear can dull a tile's surface over time, but since a honed finish is intentionally matte, a regular clean is all that is required.
