Schluter®-DILEX-AHKA is a cove-shaped profile for transitions between tiled walls and previously finished floors. This 135° outside corner option is listed in cream textured color-coated aluminum and measures 9/16" × 1". The supplier describes the profile as anodized aluminum.
The profile eliminates the need for caulking. A trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg secures in the mortar bond coat, while a dovetailed channel bonds to floor surfaces. Its 3/8" (10 mm)-wide radius helps prevent water penetration and dirt accumulation for simpler cleaning.
It is intended for tiled settings with high sanitary requirements, including commercial kitchens, bathrooms, and food processing plants, and for commercial and residential use. 90° and 135° inside and outside corners, as well as end caps, are available; the profile is also available in various anodized aluminum finishes.
