Schluter® DILEX-BWA is a Bright White (BW) perimeter movement joint profile for tile. Its rigid PVC anchoring leg has a dovetailed channel that can be bonded to fixed building elements, while the soft CPE movement zone is 3/16” (5 mm) wide. It isolates the tile covering from fixed elements such as bathtubs, shower trays, and door and window frames.
Choose from these listed sizes: 3/16" X 98 1/2", 1/4" X 98 1/2", 5/16" X 98 1/2", 3/8" X 98 1/2", and 1/2" X 98 1/2". The movement zone is available in different colors to match grout; product information notes four new colors.
Designed for commercial and residential use, the profile allows movement and helps reduce stress in large tiled areas. It eliminates the need for caulking and helps prevent tile cracking and delamination.
