Schluter®-DILEX-EKSB is a surface joint profile for thinner floor coverings such as VCT flooring or coatings. It features stainless steel anchoring legs and a 1/4" (6 mm)-wide soft thermoplastic rubber movement zone that separates individual fields in the floor covering and forms the visible surface.
Designed to allow movement and reduce stress in large tiled areas, this metal movement joint trim helps eliminate the need for caulking while also helping prevent cracking and delamination of tiles. It is suitable for residential to medium-duty commercial applications and for commercial & residential use.
Available variant sizes include 3/32" X 98 1/2", 3/16" X 98 1/2", and 1/4" X 98 1/2". A stainless steel 316L (1.4404 = V4A) version is available; contact Customer Service for pricing and availability. Backed by a 5 Year Limited Warranty.
