Schluter®-DILEX-HK is a grey 2-way inside corner tile edging trim with a cove-shaped profile for floor/wall transitions.
It features rigid PVC anchoring legs and a soft CPE movement zone that separates individual tile fields, helps reduce stress in large tiled areas, and eliminates the need for caulking. The 11/16" (18mm)-wide movement zone forms the visible surface and the tile pocket helps hide cut tile edges.
This trim accommodates wall and floor tiles of dissimilar thicknesses and meets strict hygienic requirements for commercial kitchens, bathrooms, food processing plants, and other tiled environments where a sanitary cove base is desired. It also prevents sound bridges, making it suitable for sound-rated floors.
For applications where cove trim is required for inside wall corners, DILEX-HK integrates with DILEX-HKW. Outside corners, 2-way and 3-way inside corners, connectors, and end caps are also available in different colors of PVC.
