Schluter®-DILEX-HK is a Bright White, cove-shaped plastic PVC tile edging trim for floor/wall transitions. The trim measures 11/32" x 98 1/2" and has rigid PVC anchoring legs with a soft CPE movement zone that separates individual tile fields and forms the visible surface.
Its 11/16"(18mm)-wide movement zone is designed to allow movement and reduce stress in large tiled areas, eliminating the need for caulking. A tile pocket hides cut tile edges, and the profile accommodates wall and floor tiles of dissimilar thicknesses.
DILEX-HK meets strict hygienic requirements for commercial kitchens, bathrooms, food processing plants, and other tiled environments where a sanitary cove base is desired. It prevents sound bridges, making it suitable for floor/wall transitions in sound-rated floors, and is intended for commercial and residential use.
DILEX-HK integrates with DILEX-HKW where cove trim is required for inside wall corners. Outside corners, 2-way and 3-way inside corners, connectors, and end caps are also available in different colors of PVC.
