Schluter® DILEX-KSA is a perimeter joint profile designed for tiled installations where movement needs to be managed at fixed building elements. It features an aluminum anchoring leg and a black insert for a clean finish.
This rubber and metal movement joint tile edging trim includes a 3/8” (10 mm)-wide, replaceable rubber movement zone that isolates the tile covering from fixed building elements. It is designed to allow movement and reduce stress in large, tiled areas.
Helpful features include a self-adhesive strip that allows it to bond to fixed building elements, along with benefits that help eliminate the need for caulking and prevent cracking and delamination of tiles. It is ideal for applications such as window and door frames.
Available variant sizes: 5/16" X 98 1/2", 3/8" X 98 1/2", 7/16" X 98 1/2", 1/2" X 98 1/2", and 17/32" X 98 1/2". Suitable for commercial and residential use. Stainless steel 316L (1.4404 = V4A) is also available; contact Customer Service for pricing and availability.
