Schluter®-DILEX-KSA is a perimeter movement joint profile for tile edges at fixed building elements. This listing is the stainless steel version with a black insert; the profile is described with a stainless steel or aluminum anchoring leg and a 3/8” (10 mm)-wide, replaceable rubber movement zone. Stainless steel 316L (1.4404 = V4A) is also specified for this profile.
The movement zone helps isolate the tile covering from fixed building elements, reduce stress in large tiled areas, and prevent tile cracking and delamination. A self-adhesive strip bonds the profile to fixed building elements. It eliminates the need for caulking and is suitable for window and door frames, as well as commercial and residential applications.
