The FHC Patriot Series Top or Bottom Beveled Pivot Hinge is designed for 3/8" (10 mm) glass and works with tempered or tempered/laminated glass. It is commonly used in residential bath and commercial hotel applications.
This hinge is made from solid brass and is available in multiple finishes, including Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome, Matte Black, Polished Nickel, and Satin Brass. It is self-centering within 15 degrees of the closing position.
The hinge comes factory set at 90 degrees for normal closing applications and includes a secondary field-adjustable setting for an additional 5 degrees of closing for a firmer positive close against a jamb or seal. The 85 degree pivot pin is sold separately.
Glass specifications: maximum door capacity is 3/8" (10 mm) glass, approx. 5 lb./ft². Using 2 hinges, the maximum door weight is 100 LBS (66 kg) and the maximum door width is 31" (787 mm). For 3/8" (10 mm) glass, use one thick gasket on each side. Internal product details
