The FHC Valore HD Series wall mount hinge with full back plate is designed for heavier and wider shower doors. It is a square profile, heavy-duty glass to wall shower hinge made for 3/8"-1/2" glass.
This hinge is for use with tempered or tempered/laminated glass and is commonly used in residential bath and commercial hotel applications. It has a maximum door capacity of 145 lbs. when using 2 hinges and a maximum door width of 40" (914 mm).
The Valore Series hinge includes a dual degree pivot pin. It is factory set at 90 degrees for normal door closing and can be field adjusted to allow an additional 5 degrees of closing for a firmer positive position against a jamb or seal. It includes (4) durable, industry standard size Phillips head mounting screws and plated 304 grade S/S construction.
Available finish options include Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome, Matte Black, Polished Nickel, and Satin Brass. For 3/8" (10 mm) glass, use one thick gasket on each side. For 1/2" (12 mm) glass, use one thin gasket on each side.
