The Flowering Dwarf Weeping Barbados Cherry Bonsai Tree - Large is a beautiful indoor bonsai from Bonsai Boy. Also known as Malpighia pendiculata, it features a natural pendulous form with weeping twigs and branches.
The flowers are rose-pink and often appear several together in a cyme. Its small fruit is edible, round, bright red, and glossy, usually borne singly or in twos or threes. The fruit is very juicy and extremely high in ascorbic acid (Vitamin C).
Native to St. Croix, Trinidad and Curacao, this bonsai has a graceful weeping growth habit when the branches are allowed to elongate.
Great indoor bonsai.
