The Flowering Podocarpus Bonsai Tree is an extra large Podocarpus macrophyllus from Bonsai Boy, also known as Buddhist Pine or Chinese Yew.
This dense evergreen features pointed, leathery, dark green leaves on stiff, symmetrical branches. It is unisexual, with male flowers in cones and female flowers made up of cylindrical thickened scales.
New foliage appears light green and turns darker with age. The fruits are edible, fleshy, and brightly colored, and the tree grows very well indoors, although slowly.
