This fully assembled Flying Dutchman Medium is a detailed wood model ship by Old Modern Handicrafts.
Handcrafted from high-quality wood and built to scale, it uses plank-on-frame construction and is made with western red cedar, rosewood, mahogany, teak, etc. The model is 60cm and features three decks, one row of ferocious metal cannons on each side of the ship, three large masts, and a front bowsprit with rigging and lines painstakingly knotted and fastened by hand.
Its dark black finish, moss detailing, tattered sails, and teeth-like top shape create the ghost ship look associated with the Flying Dutchman. The model comes standard with a solid wood base and brass nameplate.
