Sandy beige colored stone with green undertones
The ultimate in rustic charm
Ideal for flooring both inside and out
Natural cleft face retaining the stone's texture
Tell me about the stone French Vanilla limestone looks as if it has been reclaimed from a rustic French vineyard or chateau. It is a slightly golden soft beige, with elegant green undertones. It is a characterful stone that looks as if it's already had a long history, despite its fresh new surface. It is the perfect tile for achieving a subtle, elegant look reminiscent of beautiful European design.
French Vanilla limestone is a sedimentary rock formed when the correct pressure and temperatures cement layers of mineral deposits that have built up over a long period. The result is a sturdy stone that is more than capable of resisting the wear and tear of family life.
Use French Vanilla limestone to create the backyard of your dreams, with a cozy patio that will have you feeling like you're on vacation all year round. Install it in your porch area to invite guests to a tranquil home with class and style. Or alternatively, create a beautiful country style kitchen with the practicality to match its effortless design.
Tell me about the tile's finish The rustic, sandy nature of this beautiful stone requires a finish that complements this. A natural cleft face is achieved by carving the tile into the correct size and shape but leaving its original texture. The surface of the stone is level but is rough with tiny pits and grooves which add to the tile's ruggedness.
Not only does a natural cleft face appeal to those looking to savor the stone's earthy design; it's also incredibly functional. The textured surface provides sufficient grip, making it ideal for exterior applications. Even when the tile is wet, it has a certain slip-resistance that will help to prevent skids and trips. This is also useful for interior applications in hallways, kitchen, and bathrooms.

Furthermore, a natural cleft face is incredibly durable and wears beautifully over time. Whereas some finishes require regular maintenance to ensure they continue to look their best, the rough texture appears 'worn in' rather than 'worn down' adding to the stone's charm.
What overall look will I achieve? If you're looking for an exterior tile with elegance and class, look no further. French Vanilla limestone creates stunning country-style interiors. Have it running through your hallways all the way to your kitchen, with antique wooden furniture and soft gray-green walls for a modern take on a classic design. Its sandy coloring will have you feeling like you're unwinding in a traditional European villa, rather than your own backyard. Just add potted olive and bay trees to keep that rustic vibe running through the entire design.
It's the ultimate tile for creating calm and serenity. With a soft color palette and functional finish, French Vanilla limestone is timeless, meaning you can relax and enjoy your home knowing you've made a great investment.
