The Galileo Spacecraft Model is a detailed miniature inspired by one of NASA’s finest spacecraft. It captures the look of the orbiter and entry probe in a compact display piece for space enthusiasts.
Expertly handmade out of iron, this model measures 9 x 19 x 11 inches. It includes sun shields, scanners, thrusters, generators, probes, an antenna, and more.
Launched in 1989, Galileo studied Jupiter and its moons and was the first spacecraft to orbit the planet. Its discoveries included liquid water under the surface of Europa and a magnetic field around Ganymede.
