Gascoigne Beige is a honed limestone tile, also known as Beige Moleanos Limestone, sourced from quarries in Portugal. Its pale to mid-beige color has pink undertones, a fairly uniform thin-to-medium grain, tiny shells and fossils, little veining, and a light mottle effect.
The honed finish is ground smooth but not polished, creating a matte, satin appearance. The stone is described as highly durable and hardwearing; the finish offers some traction and is fairly slip resistant even when wet. It is suitable for floors, walls, backsplashes, fireplaces, bathrooms, kitchens and high-traffic areas such as hallways. Seal the limestone for protection; only minor upkeep is needed afterward.
Available sizes: 2" X 16", 4" X 16", 8" X 16", 16" X 16", 16" X 24", 24" X 24" X 1/2", 24" X 24" X 3/4", 18" X 36", 4" X 9", 2" X 36", 4" X 18", and 3" X 36".
