The Glass Simple Columbia 135-degree glass-to-glass shower door hinge has a solid brass body and beveled profile. It is self-centering, swings 90 degrees both ways, and is designed for wider doors. The product is listed with a factory-set 5-degree positive close; product details specify a 90-degree factory pivot setting adjustable for 5 more degrees of closure against the jamb. A bidirectional hinge block bumper helps protect the hinge block when the door reaches its full opening position in either direction.
Use with 3/8”–1/2” tempered or tempered/laminated glass only. One set of gaskets is included for use with either glass thickness. With 2 hinges, the maximum door weight is 110 lbs and the maximum door width is 36” (914 mm). With 3 hinges, the maximum door weight is 140 lbs and the maximum door width is 36” (914 mm). Do not exceed either limit for the number of hinges used. Avoid power tools during installation to help prevent finish damage. Available finishes are Brushed Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome, Matte Black, Satin Brass, and Polished Nickel.
The hinges arrive pre-greased for quiet operation. If a hinge squeaks, add several drops of multipurpose oil around the nylon washer; if disassembled, lubricate the interior components with a little white lithium grease. Avoid spray-on lubricants. Dry hardware after use. For cleaning, avoid harsh or abrasive agents and scrub brushes; test a mild mixture of gentle liquid soap and water on an inconspicuous area, rinse thoroughly with clean warm water, and buff dry.
