This Glass Simple Columbia wall-mount shower door hinge features an offset back plate and beveled profile for a clean, functional shower door installation.
It is a self-centering hinge with a 90 degree factory set and a 5 degree positive close option; the pin can be rotated to 85 degrees for a 5 degree tighter close. The hinge swings 90 degrees both ways and is made of solid brass for heavier doors.
Compatibility details: for 3/8"-1/2" glass, for use with tempered or tempered/laminated glass. Only monolithic tempered glass may be used. If using 2 hinges, maximum door weight is 100 lbs and maximum door width is 34" (864 mm) for 3/8" glass or 32" (813 mm) for 1/2" glass. If using 3 hinges, maximum door weight is 130 lbs, and maximum door width is 34" (864 mm) for 3/8" glass and 32" (813mm) for 1/2" glass.
One thick gasket on each side is needed for 3/8" (10 mm) glass. One thin gasket on each side is needed for 1/2" (12 mm) glass. Glass Simple hinges arrive pre-greased for quiet operation; dry hardware after use, avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners, and use a mild mixture of gentle liquid soap and water.
