Glass Simple Columbia wall-mount shower door hinge with offset back plate and beveled profile. It features a 5 degree positive close, with the pin set at 85 degree factory position for added pressure against the jamb.
Built from solid brass, this hinge is designed for 3/8” to 1/2” glass and is for use with tempered or tempered/laminated glass. The pin can also be rotated to achieve a self-centering 90 degree close position, and the hinge swings 90 degrees both ways for heavier doors.
Technical limits depend on your setup: with 2 hinges and 3/8” glass, maximum door weight is 100 lbs and maximum door width is 34” (864 mm); with 2 hinges and 1/2” glass, maximum door weight is 100 lbs and maximum door width is 32” (813 mm); with 3 hinges and 3/8” glass, maximum door weight is 130 lbs and maximum door width is 34” (864 mm); with 3 hinges and 1/2” glass, maximum door weight is 130 lbs and maximum door width is 32” (813 mm). Only monolithic tempered glass may be used.
