The Glass Simple Daytona is a hardware system for frameless sliding shower enclosures, designed primarily for 180° inline installations with two sliding panels. For a 90° corner enclosure, add the Glass Simple DAY90 kit, sold separately. It is comparable to Cambridge CAM73, Napa Series NAPA180 and Sorrento SMDD73.
The 73″ header can be cut on-site and is specified for openings up to 74″. The system supports 3/8″ tempered glass, which is not included; the supplier also states use with tempered or tempered/laminated glass, while its safety notes specify tempered safety glass only. Maximum door width is 36″ and maximum weight per sliding panel is 90 lbs. Top-mounted circular rollers support the two-panel configuration. Components are stainless steel. Available finishes: Brushed Bronze, Brushed Stainless, Matte Black, Polished Stainless and Satin Brass.
The DAY73 inline hardware kit includes one 73″ header bar, 8 rollers, 2 door stoppers, 2 wall-mount brackets, two 24″ towel bars, 1 bottom guide, two 40″ bottom sweeps with drip rails and two 80″ clear L-jambs.
Glass panels are sold separately or supplied by the installer; glass fabrication is required. Handles or knobs in matching finishes, clamps, U-channel, and additional seals and sweeps are not included. Professional installation is required; this system is not intended for DIY. Confirm opening dimensions before ordering glass.
