The Glass Simple Genesis wall-mount shower door hinge has a full back plate, square profile, and solid brass construction. Available finishes are Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Bronze, Satin Brass, and Polished Nickel.
It fits 3/8"-1/2" glass and includes one set of gaskets for either glass thickness. Use with tempered or tempered/laminated glass only. The hinge swings 90 degrees both ways and arrives factory-set at 85 degrees for 5 degrees of extra pressure against the jamb. Rotate the pin to achieve a self-centering close position, or adjust it for standard 90-degree door closure.
With 2 hinges, maximum door weight is 80 lbs and maximum door width is 28" (711 mm). With 3 hinges, maximum door weight is 120 lbs and maximum door width is 32" (813 mm). Do not exceed either maximum for the number of hinges used. Do not use power equipment to install the hinges, as it could damage the finish.
The hinges arrive pre-greased for quiet operation. If a hinge squeaks, add several drops of multi-purpose oil around the nylon washer. If taken apart, lubricate the interior components with a little white lithium grease; avoid spray-on lubricants.
To care for the hardware, dry it after use to minimize water spots and other discoloration. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners and scrub brushes. Use a mild mixture of gentle liquid soap and water, testing first on an inconspicuous part of the hardware. Rinse thoroughly with clean warm water and buff dry.
