This Glass Simple Genesis wall-mount shower door hinge features an offset back plate, solid brass construction, and a square profile edge for a clean shower enclosure installation.
It is self-centering with a 90 degree factory set pivot pin and includes a 5 degree positive close option. The pivot pin can be rotated to 85 degrees, allowing for a 5 degree tighter close. It swings 90 degrees both ways and is for 3/8”-1/2” glass.
Designed for use with tempered or tempered/laminated glass, this hinge is available in Brushed Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black, Polished Chrome, Satin Brass, and Polished Nickel. If using 2 hinges, maximum door weight is 80 lbs and maximum door width is 28” (711 mm). If using 3 hinges, maximum door weight is 120 lbs and maximum door width is 32” (813 mm). DO NOT exceed the maximum door weight OR door width for the number of hinges you are using. Only monolithic tempered glass may be used. Avoid using power tools during hinge installation as these may damage the finish.
Glass Simple hinges arrive pre-greased for quiet operation. If a hinge squeaks, add several drops of mult-purpose oil around the nylon washer. If the hinge is taken apart, lubricate interior components with a little bit of white lithium grease. Avoid spray-on lubricants.
