Tell me about the stone Jade White Sandstone is a delicate ivory hue with a soft green undertone. It is fine-grained, with a muted texture which softens the light in the room, making it feel warm and cozy. It's a great tile if you're looking to create a light and bright room, but still maintain an element of tranquility. There is nothing more serene than a Jade White sandstone.
Sandstone is created by layers of sediment build up. Over time, these layers are subjected to changing pressures and temperatures which cause the minerals to cement and solidify. This creates a hard stone that is durable enough for use as a construction material and has been used to create some of the world most ancient structures. This means, no matter how busy your family's lifestyle, your kitchen floor or driveway is no match for sandstone. When properly cared for, it can last for decades without needing replacement.
Tell me about the tile's finish This Jade White sandstone has a natural cleft face. This is created by the organic formation of the rock and is only reformed by stonemasons to highlight these innate qualities. It is achieved by carving the stone to the correct size, leaving its natural grain intact. The effect is a textured surface with irregular groove and ridges but is generally level, and suitable for flooring both inside and outside the home. On the back of the tile, there is a gauged surface which helps to ensure level application.
A natural cleft face means the stone retains its characterful design. But this is only one of its benefits. The surface of the stone has an innate traction, giving sufficient grip to those walking on it. This means that even while the tile is wet it does not feel slippery. In terms of durability, a natural cleft face is the most hard-wearing. Some finishes may need regular maintenance to keep them looking fresh, but a natural face embraces the tile's quirks, so wear and tear only add to its design.

What overall look will I achieve? If you're looking for a stone with character, Jade White sandstone is ideal. Its grainy textured surface creates the perfect contrast for soft furnishing, matte painted walls, and luscious foliage. Its delicate oatmeal coloring with subtle green undertones is the ultimate in design versatility. If you're looking to pair it with a vibrant orange or yellow, Jade White will match the warm tones, creating the perfect base. Alternatively, take hints its rustic qualities with a Georgian-inspired sage green, or other traditional hues.
Outside the home, Jade White sandstone makes a great patio, porch, or driveway. Add symmetrical bay trees to your doorway for a sophisticated welcome into your home. The neutral coloring looks great with most renders and is incredibly easy to style.
