Tell me about the stone Juparana Mel granite is characterized by its warm orange, brown, and gray-flecked surface. A wonderful melting pot of colors, it's the perfect stone for a home needing a warm, textured design feature. Each tile is totally different from the next in terms of pattern and color balance. Some are markedly orange, with strong speckles of brown, others are largely gray, creating a softer, understated look.
Granite is a volcanic stone created by the rapid cooling of molten rock as it nears the earth's surface. It is characteristically hard, a result of its quick solidification, making it incredibly scratch resistant. This makes it suitable for countertops, vanities, bathroom sinks, and other work surfaces around the home.
Furthermore, its explosive origins make it suitably heat resistant, a hot mug, or straightening iron is unlikely to mar the surface of this beautiful stone. Therefore, it's ideal for a busy family environment that requires a sturdy natural material. Once it has been sealed with a stone protectant, it is capable of resisting stains and moisture damage, making it one of the most durable stones the market has to offer.
Tell me about the stone's finish This tile has a bright polished finish, created by grinding the stone down to a beautifully smooth level, then polishing the stone until a brilliant shine is revealed. This is a process which can remove up to 1mm of the stone's surface in order to achieve the desired effect.
The stone's natural colors are revealed to their full potential. Blacks appear deeper and darker than ever before, while the pale gray tones are lifted to create a brighter stone with an exciting contrast. But the benefits don't stop there. A polished finish reflects the light around the room creating a bright and spacious area, just like a mirror. The glossy sheen creates a high-end look for your home interior, its illustrious surface adding texture and glow.
