This king size hardwood platform bed frame in walnut features an asymmetrical cane-paneling headboard and conical, tapered legs. It is designed for use without a box-spring, and the back of the headboard is semi-finished.
The frame is described as 100% solid wood, made from a mix of eucalyptus hardwood and solid pine wood with eucalyptus veneer for a smooth, flawless surface. The eucalyptus hardwood is harvested from renewable plantation forests. The finish is non-toxic, low-VOC paint made with solvents from 100% renewable sources.
The cane panels use plant-based fiber and reinforced nylon tested for use in chair seats. They are stretched and attached to the headboard by hand; the material is intended to let you sit against the headboard without worrying about stretching the cane panels.
