The Korsholm III ship model is a handcrafted wooden display piece made by Old Modern Handicrafts. It is built from rosewood, mahogany, teak, and various other exotic wood, with metal details for added realism.
The hull uses a plank on frame construction, where each strip of exotic wood is carefully joined to form a smooth finish. This model is fully hand built to spec by skilled master craftsmen and painted in lustrous original color: red and white.
Detailed features include a see-through 3-D two stories rear deck, countless windows on the two decks, wooden navigation towers, wooden canoes, wooden benches, metal fences around all deck, painted windows, and "Korsholm III" imprinted in black on both side of the ship. It also includes an attached wooden stand with a nameplate engraved "Korsholm III".
Built according to scale through original plans, pictures and drawings, this model ships fully-assembled and ready to be displayed. No plastic parts are used—only high quality wood and metal parts.
