Lagos Gold is a honed limestone tile in creamy beige with a subtle golden undertone and pale, stony mottling. Sizes offered are 3" X 3", 2" X 6", 3" X 4", 4" X 4", 2" X 8", 3" X 6", 2" X 9", 2" X 12", 4" X 6", 3" X 9", 2" X 16" and 4" X 8".
The limestone originates in Southern Portugal. Tiny fossilized plant and animal matter may be visible across the surface, captured during the stone’s formation. Its neutral palette suits a range of interior designs, including bathrooms, kitchens and entrance halls.
The honed finish has a level, matte surface that softens light and offers slightly more traction than some other finish options. The stone is hardwearing and suitable for most applications, including high-traffic locations. Because of its pale tonality, consider protecting it with a stone sealant to help prevent stains. The honed finish does not require regular polishing.
