The Mikawa Yatsubusa Japanese Maple Bonsai Tree is a grafted, multi-branched Acer palmatum cultivar with a compact growth habit and a sculptural, nearly spherical form.
Its green leaves grow closely together and overlap like shingles on a roof, creating a dense leaf cover. In fall, the foliage turns a brilliant fiery red for a dramatic seasonal display.
Hardy and easy to grow, this delicate maple is ideal as a bonsai tree specimen and looks great on a patio, deck, or in the garden. Provide sun to show the best colors in early spring and late in the season. Deciduous. Keep outdoors.
