Marble has been one of the most highly regarded natural stones for generations. In ancient Europe, it was used to enrich architecture and create stunning sculptures. Michelangelo famously used the material to create some of his most revered works, many of which are still around today. This is a testament to the stone's incredible durability.
Marble is suitable for a wide variety of applications, including flooring, walls, and countertops. But it can also be used outside due to its ability to resist freeze-thaw conditions.
Tell me about the tile's finish These Nero Marquina tiles have a polished finish that accentuates the stone's stunning color palette. The tiles have been ground down to remove any ridges, grooves, or bumps that may be left on its surface. The tile is then buffed, removing a thin layer of the stone. Eventually, the marble begins to show a gorgeously glossy sheen. Its colors are sharpened, giving clarity to the contrasting hues.?á
Despite being such a dark stone, the mirror-like surface reflects light around the room, working to make it feel bright and spacious. It's a high-end finish that will make your home feel luxurious.

Some of the most popular applications include feature walls or backsplashes. A polished sheen is ideal for this type of use because it is incredibly easy to clean. The buffing process tightens the stone's pores, aiding its resistance to staining. And, the smooth surface leaves nowhere for the dirt and grime to hide. A wipe clean with a pH neutral cleanser should be sufficient to bring the stone back to life.
