Gorgeous tabletop plaque is decorated at base with three crosses, a crown of thorns, and three exquisite dogwood blooms. These blooms are said to be richly symbolic of the crucifixion of Jesus. Engraved with a dogwood bloom pattern and the poem A Dogwood Legend. Size of plaque is 6 1/2" high, 4 3/4" wide, 1 3/4" deep at base. Made of resin. Text of poem: Of all the trees the Romans chose, the famous ancient legend goes, they used your limbs to Crucify the Son of God, which made you cry.
