The Platine Luxury Italia Settee is a hand-carved Rococo bench settee with a back featuring intricate, symmetrical carvings. Its style evolved from Baroque furnishings and originated in France about 1720.
It is made from solid Mahogany with a Platina finish and imported Silver Taffeta upholstery. The settee measures 51 wide x 20 depth x 63 inches tall and comes fully assembled. Made by hand and imported from Indonesia, it is an exclusive design and finish from the Heritage Collection, a division of AFD Home.
The Mahogany comes from replanted forests and is kiln dried. Each piece is hand carved one at a time; the finished item is stress and pressure tested prior to finishing for long-lasting stability in most climates.
