Tell me about the stone An absolute classic, this Premium Black granite tile is ideal for creating the luxurious kitchen you've always dreamed of. It is a deep and captivating black color, one of the darkest and seamless stones on the market. When you look closely, you can see evidence of tiny crystals in its surface, each as richly pigmented as the next. This is the perfect stone for creating a stunning monochrome design, or alternatively, forming the basis for your opulent interior.
Granite is a great investment material because it is famed for its hardwearing nature. Starting life as bubbling magma beneath the earth's surface, granite is formed when it rises up through faults in the earth's crust to cooler climates. This causes the molten rock to solidify, forming a hardened stone. The result is an incredibly dense and hard material, arguably one of the sturdiest on the market. This makes it ideal for flooring throughout the home, including high traffic areas such as hallways and kitchens. It also works great as a work surface, for example, your countertop or vanity, because it is highly resistant to heat and scratches. A hot plate, mug, or curling iron are unlikely to mar this stone's surface and general everyday working use should not impact its appearance.
Tell me about the tile's finish Our Premium Black granite tiles come with a luxuriously polished finish. If you're looking for the deepest of black tones, there is no doubt that this is the option for you. The tile is glossy and shiny, with a totally smooth texture, just like a pane of glass or mirror.
This is achieved by grinding the face of the stone down until it is beautifully smooth. All imperfections, bumps, and grazes are removed from the stone. The tile is then buffed, removing a thin layer of its surface, revealing a gorgeous shine. It is a highly reflective finish that bounces light around a room making it feel spacious and light. If you have a small kitchen or bathroom and are looking for something to maximize its assets, a polished finish is perfect.

Finally, the glossy look emphasizes the stone's coloring, creating the deepest and darkest black of them all. Where other finishes may dull the stone's hues, a polished finish really adds to their impact. The dark color adds depth to a room, while the shine lightens, a design focussed finish that really wows.
What overall look will I achieve? Our Premium Black granite is great for creating a sleek and high-end design. Whether you're looking for something super modern and minimalist, or something that you can build a characterful design upon, Black granite is ideal. Combine it with white gloss kitchen cabinets for the ultimate in monochrome. Or, alternatively, use it to create a countertop for dark navy cabinets that will add a luxury and intrigue to your design.
