Excelsior PSD-805 is a modified pressure-sensitive acrylic ESD adhesive designed for indoor installation of ESD vinyl and rubber flooring. This option is listed as 13 lbs. It can be used as a wet-set over porous substrates or tacky-wet or dry over non-porous substrates. Rubber ESD flooring requires wet adhesive to transfer to the flooring backing.
When used with ESD tile and a grounding source, PSD-805 helps dissipate static discharge. “Modified” means it can be applied using a wet-set or pressure-sensitive method; either method results in a firm, non-releasable adhesive bond.
Features include low VOC, solvent-free formulation, superior shear strength, nose support, and support for stair tread and nosing longevity.
