Tell me about the stone Ramon Bone limestone, so named for its beautiful ivory coloring, hails from quarries in Israel, one of the world's most famous limestone regions. It has a delicate golden stone pattern, with some patches richer and deeper than others. Therefore, each tile is different from the next, with some areas appearing slightly lighter than others. This is the beauty of a natural stone. You get a unique piece of the wild earth in every tile.
Limestone is a great material for tiles because of its stunning neutral color range and durability. In fact, limestone has been the basis for a huge number of constructions due to its ability to stand the test of time. The Great Pyramids of Giza were made from a type of limestone - one of the oldest structures still in existence today. For this reason, limestone works great as a kitchen, bathroom, or hallway flooring tile, but can be used for all manner of applications.
Formed by minerals suspended within a body of water depositing into layers over time and eventually cementing to form a hard rock, limestone often has evidence of its nautical past littered throughout its surface. Tiny fossils are sometimes encapsulated within the stone, frozen in time. This gives the stone a truly natural feel that will never be replicated by man-made materials.
Tell me about the tile's finish Rome Bone limestone's subtle and creamy color palette is perfectly complemented by the gorgeous honed finish. It has a beautiful matte effect, just like a whipped cream that softens the light in a room, transforming any interior from a house into a home.
It's a great option for those looking for a perfect balance of refined design and practicality. The satin-like surface has a greater level of grip than a polished stone, making it ideal for flooring, especially in a family environment.

Furthermore, the matte surface is intentionally dull and therefore, wear and tear will not deteriorate the stone's impact. There is little maintenance required to keep the stone looking its best. A regular clean with a pH neutral cleanser is more than sufficient. Plus, the smooth texture means that dirt and grime will not collect along any bumps or ridges -keeping them sparkling is an easy and quick job.
What overall look will I achieve? Ramon Bone limestone is a stunning neutral limestone that will create the perfect homely environment. Just like the warm glow from a fire or your favorite lamp, it will turn a room from a bare box, into your very own cozy interior. Pair it with other neutrals to keep the design classic or add a touch of color with sage green or duck egg kitchen cabinets.
