Hallmark Floors American Traditional Classics Red Oak Auburn hardwood stair nose moulding/trim measures 84.25" and is listed with Smooth Glaze Tek. The collection features classic narrow planks and a Prairie-style look; species are available in mill run, character grade, or select grade.
The supplier describes its engineered hardwood construction as using true hardwood veneers and TSCA Title VI glues for the center-ply. The center veneers are cold pressed, then hot pressed under tremendous pressure to make the eco-friendly center core harder and more proportionally stable. Handcrafted surface techniques accentuate the wood’s characteristics and create genuine wood texture.
The engineered hardwood is described as having an ultra thick wear layer with the same usable surface as 3/4” solid hardwood flooring, allowing 3 guaranteed sandings.
