Restorers 1/2" Pre-Woven Cane Hobby Pack is pre-cut to a convenient 24" x 24" size for chair caning projects.
This pre-woven cane webbing is used when a groove surrounds the caned area for re-seating cane chairs. It can also be used on cabinet doors.
Pre-woven cane mesh is held in place in the groove by spline and glue. Both machine pre-woven cane webbing and unwoven chair cane are made from the same material.
Allow one inch overlap of woven cane, measuring outside of groove from side to side at widest point. Thickness is approximately 1/16" - 3/32", but may vary due to being natural material.
