This 13-inch urethane urn finial from Restorers Architectural is modeled after traditional and historical designs. Its crafted solid polyurethane construction provides rich detail and is intended to accent cabinetry, furniture, fireplace mantels, newel posts, stairways, and more.
Polyurethane will not rot or crack like wood and is impervious to insects. The finial will not crack, warp, or split; it offers abrasion resistance with a non-marking surface, is lightweight and easy to install, and is described as outlasting plastics, steel, rubber, and aluminum. It comes factory primed and ready for paint or faux finish.
Installation uses simple glues and finish nails. The product also lists low tooling cost as a feature.
