Restorers Iron Trunk Lifter Handle Trunk restoration and construction is a fun home building project. Restorers Iron Trunk Lifter Handle is part of Van Dyke's selection of hardware to complete your project. 3 1/2" x 3 3/4". Distance between top and bottom holes: 1 7/8". Available in Oil Blackened, Rust, Weathered Bronze, or Black Powder Coat.
Oil Blackened is raw iron coated with oil. The oil will wear and expose the iron beneath, which will rust. Left as is, this finish will erode, or rub off. This can be prevented by sealing with furniture wax or a clear coat sealant. Rust is a raw iron that has been oxidized. This finish will continue to rust over time and will rub off. This finish can be preserved by sealing with furniture wax or a clear coat sealant. Black Powder Coat is a baked on finish that is virtually maintenance free. This finish is more shiny than Oil Blackened and is permanent. Weathered Bronze is made from solid cast bronze. Weathered bronze will continue to age and patina over time. No two pieces will ever look identical.
