Restorers Rattan Reed Spline is made for chair repair projects that use cane webbing in an existing groove.
Press the rattan cane webbing into the groove in the seat or back of a chair being repaired. For a new application, or for restoration, a groove will be needed and may need to be cleaned, widened, or deepened first.
If the rattan reed is too wide, narrow it by shaving some width off with a sharp tool. Sold per 6 foot coil. Variant: Unfinished.
