Tell me about the stone Looking at its sandy, golden cream color palette, it's clear where this stunning Sahara Beige Marble takes its name from, warm and toasted deserts. But, whilst its name alludes to African origins, Sahara Beige is actually quarried in Pakistan, a region which provides some of the world's most highly prized marbles. It has a delicate, yet irregular pattern, creating a luxurious mottled pattern. This adds a unique design edge to your interior and means that no two tiles will ever look identical.
Marble is famous for its exquisite coloring and original patterns, providing some of the most gorgeous designs created by the natural world, and Sahara Beige is no different. In fact, throughout history, it has been used by designers, architects, and artists to create magnificent constructions that are highly desired by the world,s elite. The Italian creator, Michelangelo, regularly used it to fashion some of his most famous works. Many of these incredible designs are still in existence today, proof of the stone,s longevity and resistance to the elements.
Marble can be used to create beautiful backsplashes and countertops, as well as flooring and walls. It will give your new kitchen, bathroom, or hallway design the lift you are searching for.
Tell me about the tile's finish These tiles have a honed finish, a stunning matte effect that creates a warm and inviting feel. This is a refined surface, created by grinding the stone down until it is flat and level, removing any bumps or ridges in the process. The result is a beautifully smooth tile with a satin finish. A honed effect softens the light in a room, unlike a polished finish which is highly reflective. This creates a relaxed and calm environment, ideal for a family home.

In fact, a honed finish also comes with a number of functional benefits. For example, it is lower maintenance than a polished finish, as its surface is intentionally dull. There is no need to polish the stones regularly as part of their upkeep, and they tend to age beautifully.
Furthermore, a honed finish has slightly more traction than a more refined surface, making it ideal for flooring, even in bathrooms and hallways. Where a glossy tile is likely to become slippery when wet, the matte effect offers more grip.
