Schluter®-SCHIENE-STEP is a satin anodized aluminum finishing and edging profile for ceramic tile and natural stone installations on countertops, stairs, and tile-over-tile applications on walls. Its top vertical wall section finishes and protects tile edges, while the ribbed vertical leg covers the edge of the countertop sub-assembly, top of the stair riser, or existing wall edge.
An integrated joint spacer establishes a defined joint cavity between the tile and profile on the anodized aluminum version. The profile’s “T” configuration finishes and protects the edges of both old and new tile on walls. It is suitable for residential and commercial use.
Available options are 5/16" X 98 1/2" X 1 3/16", 3/8" X 98 1/2" X 1 3/16", 1/2" X 98 1/2" X 1 3/16", 9/16" X 98 1/2" X 1 3/16", 5/16" X 98 1/2", 3/8" X 98 1/2", 1/2" X 98 1/2", and 9/16" X 98 1/2". The profile is available in anodized aluminum and brushed stainless steel; 90° and 135° inside and outside corners, connectors, and end caps are available in brushed stainless steel only.
