Schluter®-SCHIENE-STEP is a finishing and edging profile for ceramic tile and natural stone installations on countertops, stairs, and tile-over-tile applications on walls.
The profile helps prevent tile edges from chipping. Its ribbed vertical leg covers the edge of the countertop sub-assembly or the top of the stair riser, and the top section finishes and protects the tile from damage. The anodized aluminum version includes an integrated joint spacer that establishes a defined joint cavity between the tile and the profile.
This stair nose tile edging trim is available in satin nickel anodized aluminum and is intended for commercial and residential use. Available size options include 5/16" X 98 1/2" X 1 3/16", 3/8" X 98 1/2" X 1 3/16", 1/2" X 98 1/2" X 1 3/16", 9/16" X 98 1/2" X 1 3/16", 5/16" X 98 1/2", 3/8" X 98 1/2", 1/2" X 98 1/2", and 9/16" X 98 1/2".
