This Blue Jay stair tread is a low profile raised circular rubber stair tread with a safety yellow abrasive strip and a textured finish.
It is part of a line of PVC-free rubber stair treads designed for shopping malls, retail settings, government centers, hospitals, and airports. Most styles offer ADA nose-compliant features.
Key details include free of Red List chemicals, PVC, phthalates, and halogens. It is made in the U.S.A. and meets GREENGUARD GOLD, FloorScore, NSF/ANSI 332 Level 1, and CHPS criteria.
Available variant sizes: 12 1/2" X 36", 12 1/2" X 42", 12 1/2" X 48", 12 1/2" X 54", 12 1/2" X 60", 12 1/2" X 66", and 12 1/2" X 72". Other available profile options include Textured, Raised Circular Vantage, Raised Square, Abrasive Strip, Smooth, Diamond, and Hammered design profiles. Custom lengths can be ordered in 6" increments up to 9 ft. (2.73m) in Textured, Hammered, Vantage, Square, and Diamond designs.
Safety abrasive strips or rubber inserts and custom strips can also be added for extra traction or to aid the visually impaired. Self-illuminating photo-luminescent abrasive glow strips are available for added safety in darkened conditions. Solid, Symmetry, and ReNew color palettes are available at a Single Price Point within the selected palette. The ReNew palette is available only in three profiles: Smooth, Hammered, and Textured.
