The Roppe Solid 92 Merlin is a textured, low-profile raised circular rubber stair tread with a Galley Red abrasive strip and DuPont Kevlar. Available sizes are 12 1/2" × 36", 12 1/2" × 42", 12 1/2" × 48", 12 1/2" × 54", 12 1/2" × 60", 12 1/2" × 66", and 12 1/2" × 72". Roppe describes its rubber stair treads with Kevlar as engineered to resist damage from everyday wear and heavier use for decades.
The treads are free of Red List chemicals, PVC, phthalates, and halogens. Made in the U.S.A., they meet GREENGUARD GOLD, FloorScore, NSF/ANSI 332 Level 1, and CHPS criteria.
Roppe stair treads are available in eight profiles: Textured, Raised Circular Vantage, Raised Square, Low Profile Raised Circular, Abrasive Strip, Smooth, Diamond, and Hammered. Custom lengths can be ordered in 6" increments up to 9 ft. (2.73m) in Textured, Hammered, Vantage, Square, and Diamond designs.
Safety abrasive strips, rubber inserts, and custom strips can be added for extra traction or to aid the visually impaired. Self-illuminating photo-luminescent abrasive glow strips are also available for added safety in darkened conditions. Solid, Symmetry, and ReNew color palettes are available at a single price point within the selected palette; ReNew is available only in Smooth, Hammered, and Textured profiles.
