The historic Boatswain (Bosun) Whistle, reproduced here in solid brass and gleaming copper, is a classic tool aboard any sailing vessel. Used by the shipâs boatswain to send out calls to the sailors, the high pitched variable whistle carrying above the roar of the ocean, this whistle was vital to rigging the masts, hoisting the sails, dropping the anchor, and every other order. The perfect gift for the nautical enthusiast, collector, or sailor in your life, give this Bosun Whistle with pride.
